To maximize the value of your house there are a few steps to be made before calling us to list.

  • Clean, de-personalize and de-clutter.  This will add the appearance of more space

  • Curb Appeal and Entrance. Add flowers, weed eat and make sure front door is clean.

  • If it's broken, fix it for your buyer

  • Paint.  Fresh paint in neutral colors shows better to your buyer.

  • Floors.  If your flooring is screaming for some TLC consider doing so before you put your house on the market.  Carpet should be free from stains or damage, tile and hardwood should be clean and free from cracks, and linoleum should be clean and free from holes or tears.

  • Roof.  Buyer's aren't just in the market for a roof over their head, they are looking for a roof that doesn't leak or is in need of repairs.

  • De-odorize - Get your house smelling Nice!  Remove anything that could potentially produce a less than desireable smell!  The 2 biggest things are pets and smoke.

  • Windows.  New windows are expensive but nothing takes an older home up a few notches better than new windows.  Make sure windows are clean!

  • Staging.  Call me to stage your house so that buyers see the best layout.
